The podcast luck has been with me for the past few weeks...starting with the National BBQ Rankings president, then with Tana Shupe of the Jack Daniel's and today I will be recording a show with Kell Phelps of the National BBQ festival which houses the Best of the Best bbq contest!

Also I have host of WLTV Gary Vaynerchuck in the wings as well as Mike McGowan from Backwoods Smokers...and to round out the hopper is The Original Charcoal Company. Weeks of shows in the buffer!!

BBQ Central TV Redo...

I am going to redo the show from today tomorrow (Tuesday) as I had mucho technical problems. It was not fair to my guest Mike Hedrick who was talking about Operation BBQ. So, please join me at 1pm EST on BBQ Central TV for this episode!

BBQ Central Radio...

Is now on the air. Broadcasting M-F from around 7am till around 9pm each night BBQ Central Radio will be playing music, powered by www.pandora.com and will also be replaying the BBQ Central Podcasts during the evenings.

A new Contest is in the Works...

There is a new contest that is under development right now on BBQ Central. It will be for registered members of the forum only this time around. The grand prize will be a Primo XL cooker provided by Wolfe Rub BBQ Seasonings. There are other prizes being solicited as well.

Raffle tickets prices have yet to be determined but it looks to be in the $25.ticket range or $100/5. Not to bad considering the main prize!

My friend is going to be on TV Wednesday night...

The guy responsible for my severe interest in wine is going to be on the Conan O Brien show Wednesday night! If you have a Tivo or a DVR record it so you can see this guy. He is infectious and will get you in to wine as well. He is taking off...its neat to see him go from a daily video podcast to a national stage! Good luck Gary!
